ARP spoofing is a classic attack that exploits the vulnerabilities of the ARP protocol to execute a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack. As ARP is ubiquitous in private network communication, this attack is almost always feasible in an unsecured environment. By intercepting traffic between the victim and the router, ARP spoofing can compromise the privacy of the victim’s activities on their laptop.
